Senior Engineer Jeff reports 10 good catches last quarter winning £250 towards new tools
Klimatec’s good catch scheme rewards employees for reporting near misses or any hazards they may have spotted in the workplace.
Amongst Jeff’s reported catches were slippery bird faeces on rooftop gantry and around chillers, access issues to air handling units on a site, making working unsafe for those trying to reach electrical panels, trip hazards on roof accessways and live electrical terminals had been left open to the elements.
Jeff, who joined the company in 2022, is a Senior Engineer and reported the most good catches for the last quarter (Spring 2025)
As a reward for reporting the most good catches in the quarter, Jeff received £250 towards new tools.
The good catch scheme was first introduced several years ago and is designed to incentivise good catch reporting and informing employees on the common reported hazards in the workplace, both out on site and in the office environment.
