Klimatec donates over £600 worth of required food to local Foodbank

Operations Director Ben and Operations Manager Peter delivered 18 food crates to the Richmond Foodbank last month, as well as cash donations to The Woodland Trust and Macmillan.

They were met by Kevin Westbury, Logistics Co-ordinator for Vineyard Community.

Klimatec Limited has now delivered on its commitment to raising funds for a local foodbank charity and delivering products to the value of £675, alongside additional online donations made to both The Woodland Trust and MacMillan.

This commitment was made at a recent CBRE Data Center Solutions event in London where Klimatec had a stand. Clients and customers decided how much the company would donate by inserting tokens into a branded charity box that was made specifically for the event. This was the end result, and the team are delighted to help three very worthwhile causes.

Finance & Admin Director Amy Taylor said:

“We always wanted to give back to our local community, and the Foodbank was a suggestion made by my colleague Ben. What a perfect choice, as the food we have now delivered is helping many struggling families close to our London office.

We look forward to continuing our charitable donations at all future events”
