Klimatec becomes BESCA CPS Approved

Klimatec can now self-certify works after becoming BESCA CPS Approved.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Operations Manager Jordan McCarthy, Senior Air Conditioning Engineer Ashley Lehec, Finance and Administration Director Amy Taylor and Project Manager Darren Samme, Klimatec is now BESCA CPS approved, which means the company can self-certify installation works that comply with Building Regulations without the need for local authority inspections, further proof of the company’s workforce competency and the overall quality of workmanship on display.

Commenting on the result, Amy said:

“I am delighted that Klimatec has secured yet another accolade that continues to demonstrate our commitment to providing the highest quality workmanship for air conditioning and cooling services across the UK.

Congratulations to Ashley and Jordan for becoming Approved Certifiers, their level of skill and knowledge is an inspiration to the company and to the wider industry”

In order to achieve approval, Klimatec had to undertake a back office management review in June and July 2022, where all company policies and procedures were reviewed and assessed. Ashley and Jordan had to demonstrate their skill and qualifications in order to be considered for the scheme, and also had to attend at BSRIA training course.

This was followed by an onsite audit carried out by a BESCA auditor who attended a site in Warwick to observe Darren, one of the company’s Project Managers, carrying out installation works. Ashley was also in attendance.

The assessment was a success and the auditor was very impressed with Klimatec’s overall performance.
