Cooling Awards Finalist Dan Lake

Klimatec Apprentice Daniel Lake was a National Student of the Year finalist at the RAC Cooling Industry Awards 2026.

Daniel’s apprenticeship with Klimatec started in 2023 through City of Portsmouth College, studying the Standard in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Engineering Technician where Dan is working towards completing his Level 3 in 2026. The RAC Cooling Industry Awards, sponsored by isd solutions ltd, was held at the prestigious Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London on the 24 September.

Daniel was a finalist in the National Student of the Year Award 2026 category. The 23rd annual event is the largest in the UK refrigeration & air conditioning sector & recognises organisations of all sizes across the supply chain.
